Photo Catch-Up

After much nagging from my husband, I am updating the blog.  Here are photos from the last 8 weeks.

 I took a box and added some christmas lights to it.

These next few photos were from a road trip Gray and I took to College Station.  That's right, I took Grayson to "Gig'em Aggies" (as he likes to call it).  One of my friends was getting married so he was my date.  He had his first campus tour and got to meet alot of my friends from when I worked there as well as some girls I played soccer with.  He did great with a hectic schedule and I think he was bit by the travel bug.  :)  Our next trip...we are flying to Atlanta/Alabama in April for my cousin's wedding.

At the beginning of February I went to West Virginia for a week long national maintenance school.  We were hoping to see some snow but it melted the day we arrived.  Instead we had some of the most gorgeous weather which paid off since the resort property where we stayed was beautiful.  My friend and I took a couple of walks each day along the mile and half trails they had.

While I was gone, Grayson had his first ever soccer practice.  It broke my heart to miss it but my flight had been booked for that day months before I knew when practice would begin.  Shane said he did great!  Luckily my friend's son plays on the team so she sent me some pictures.

 The team didn't do fantastic but Grayson was engaged each quarter he played on the field.

That's all we could hope for with it being his first time playing an organized sport.

 Plus it looks like he had a great time!

I will say, the friend was falling down on purpose.

 The weather was nice so we got outside this morning to play

Shane sent me a video of the boys while I was gone.  I wrote them a note everyday for the first 14 days of February.  This was their first day.

Here is a video of Shane reading a book to the boys. We are so amazed at how responsive Beckett is when we read to him.
