I found the house on Homeaway and it did not disappoint. It stated the house was just built in 2015 and it was gorgeous! If we ever had a beach house, the layout and decor is exactly as I would want it. The price was also really reasonable when you factored in 3 families splitting the rental rate and also chipping in for the golf cart that came along with it (definitely a plus with all of our kiddos and gear we hauled back and forth to the beach each day). We could not have asked for a better house or location. The beach was only 4-5 houses down the street so it was really convenient. Sunday it was pretty busy but the other days there were not too many people so we had plenty of space to spread out and play.

Living Room with 4 Bedrooms and 2.5 baths

Huge deck upstairs
There was a gate at the stairs we could close so the
kids could run around and play up here without any worries.
Open area below the house to park and hang out.
They had a really nice outdoor shower down here, too.
All in all it was a good trip. The kids really enjoyed each other's company and I loved watching Grayson interact with the other kids. Spending time with two of my closest friends was also great. I rarely see Nikki and Ellen and the time we do spend with one another is typically brief. Our husbands get along great so everyone had a good time. Below are pictures I took but I know Nikki and Ellen got quite a few as well that I haven't seen.
Playing at Aunt Nik Nik's house
Hanging out with Payton (P)
Grayson was stressed so I'm glad he was finally
able to kick back and relax.
Gray and P were so cute together!
Aunt Nik Nik caught Gray flirting with P.
First time in the water!
Checking out this really large bathtub
(and Uncle Robert in the water)
Gray seemed to really enjoy the beach this trip.
He liked scooping up the sand and helping mommy
find seashells.

These two loved playing with each other
and fighting with each other....it was hilarious!
Toes in the sand
Becks playing with daddy
Beckett seemed to like the beach.
He didn't spend as much time in the sand
and water as the other kids but maybe
next summer he will!
One afternoon we found Ben and Gray "hiding"
in the hammock
Attempting to get the kids to watch a movie one night
Daddy and Beckett took alot of naps together.

The littles having dinner at this cute picnic table.
We tried to go buy one but it has to be ordered.
Trying to see if they can ship it to us or Shane may
be making us one. :)
S'mores!!
All of the kids (except Beckett) the morning we left.
Ellen, Nikki and I on the beach.
Me and my girls!
Taking the ferry back to Galveston to head home
I had to wedge myself into the backseat to keep this
one entertained.
This one watched movies on the way home.
We made a detour through College Station on the
way back to have lunch with my aunt and cousin.
I wish we could have headed over to campus to
see the new stadium and stop by my grandfather's lab
but we didn't have time. Sounds like a good road
trip this fall!
